Santa Teresa is the mild variety of Sardinian Pecorino DOP. A young versatile, soft, table sheep’s milk cheese with a buttery texture and a mild yet rich flavour. Under the smooth, straw-colored rind, it is white and soft with a few eyes. Aged for 20/25 days; it has all the aromas of milk and pastures.
1.Perfect ingredient for oven-baked Lasagna.
2.Melted on oven-baked vegetables or with cold cuts as an appetizer.
3.Chopped on fresh salads or cold dishes.
4.Excellent with figs jam.
5.Pairs well with white fresh wines.
