Medoro – mature sardinian pecorino DOP

A half-cooked sheep’s cheese with intense aroma and flavoursome taste. Medoro is another typical product of Sardinian cheese-making tradition. It is compact, solid, straw-coloured cheese, characterized by an incredibly rich texture, an unmistakable fragrant and slightly tangy taste. Aged for at least 120 days, it has a yellow rind, treated with olive oil.
1.Perfect ingredient for tomato sauces and excellent when grated on pasta and soups.
2.Served in shavings or in wedges, as an appetizer, with meat and vegetables.
3.With fresh fruit, such as grapes or pears.
4.Pairs well with smooth-red-wines.
